Is it too soon to send out my bridal shower invites?
Shower date Aug. 2ndMY MOM IS SENDING THEM OUT...SHE HAS NO IDEA WHEN TO SEND THEM...THANK YOU.

OMG I found out that my bridal shower invites are asking people to pay at a restaurant and bring a gift. Help?
Another friend told me in confidence but I need to stop this, I would totally not do this. How do I handle it, the invites are going out tomorrow.More info and it gets worse.....I was too late the invites were emailed out and I found out the bridal shower is a lingerie themed shower, like hello what about my mother, his mother being there...Someone told me to be thankful that I am having anything at all...But I am going to go Bridezillaish after this embarrassing fiasco. So Now that it is out there, should I keep stressing or what? I think I am more hurt than anything that they would think that I am a person that would be satisfied with this nonesense. It kinda tells me what they think of me, don't ya think?

Do I have to invite my future step-mother in law to my bridal shower?
We don't get along very well, and she and my future MIL are not on good terms. She won't know anyone at the shower and I really don't want her there. My mom thinks that I should invite her. Any thoughts?

I received an invitation to a bridal shower and on it, it says " Guests please bring one pack of annual flowers for the bride's garden" I'm not sure what that means, do they want me to bring seeds for her to plant? or actual potted flowers? and what kind of flowers are considered 'annual'? I am wondering if I should invite my fiancee's family mother, sister, grandmothers to the bridal shower? They are all very sweet, BUT I don't know any of them very well, and THE MAIN ISSUE is that they ALL live out of state, and I know they won't be able to attend. I don't want them to think I'm fishing for gifts by all means, I'm not , but on the other hand, I don't want them to feel slighted by not getting an invitation. What is the proper etiquette? And if I do invite them, I think his grandmothers probably don't remember my name, and I'm worried they might not know who the invitation is from, so in the part of the invitation that says " In Honor of" should I just write my name, or should I include his? Is it Rude to have a bridal shower and not invite to wedding?
We are having our small wedding this coming Feb, with less than 40 people, which is all family. I would like to have some kind of celebration bridal shower with my friends that can't come. I don't want gifts or anything, we are not even registered for our wedding, just to celebrate with us. Is this concidered rude?

Do I have to invite my sister-in-law to bridal shower/bachellorette party?
I am getting married in a few months, and while I love my fiance's family, I really dislike his brother's wife. She is often rude to me, and constantly makes comparisons between her husband and my fiance. However, this brother and his wife live with my fiance's parents, who live next door to us, and it's hard to avoid her. I know she must be invited to the wedding, but would it be rude not to include her in pre wedding parties like the bridal shower?

We've gone out on double dates a few times but I really don't know her that well. Should I go to the shower? Or was she just inviting me to be polite? Shes a really nice girl but I just don't know her that well. I will deffinatly be at the wedding, but isn't the shower for family and close friends? What should I do?
